Rose of Rosalie is a hybrid tea bred in Canada by Brad Jalbert and introduced by Select Roses in 2023. Fragrance is the reason to grow it: Jalbert calls it one of the most intoxicating scents he has ever found in a rose. It’s deep, rich and powerful, in the style of the old damask roses. The large, well-formed blooms are warm cream with hints of peach and buff. It flowers early in the season and repeats through to fall, and a few stems in a vase will scent a whole room. The plant is upright, just over 90 cm tall, with healthy olive-green foliage.
