Welcome to The Bloom Library

let's make little patches of earth so welcoming that the bees and we both find every reason to stay a while!

Our Story:
A Quiet Place to Grow

I suppose it’s just in my blood. Coming from a line of farmers, my heart has always belonged to green fields and the scent of earth after rain, even as my career took me into engineering and project management.

The rose is a quiet thread in my family. My grandmother was affectionately known as Gulabo (The Rose) because she tucked a fresh bloom into her hair every day, and my mother still can’t pass a stranger’s garden without stopping to catch a sniff of magic.

As an introvert, my backyard is my sanctuary. On tired work days, it’s where I unwind alongside my dog, Imlee, and my cats, Cooper and Daayie. Watching a rose unfurl isn’t just aesthetic; it’s healing. It forces me to slow down and breathe. My wish is to make my yard so welcoming that the bees and I both find every reason to stay a while.

This is why The Bloom Library was born. I want to share the history, the care, and the quiet joy I’ve found here. If you are a beginner, my advice is plant the rose your heart desires; life is far too short not to try the bloom you’ve been coveting! Be open to the calmness and the fun chaos these thorny plants bring.

I’m still in my garden beds learning every day, and I want us to grow together. We all deserve a little piece of peace where we can just stop and soak it in.

Stay Rosy!
