Care for Roses
We source our plants from trusted growers across Canada, including many small and specialty nurseries. Every plant is carefully selected and quality-checked before it reaches you, ensuring it thrives in Canadian growing conditions.
We currently offer shipping across Ontario, and are actively working to expand to other provinces in Canada soon. Follow us on Instagram or join our newsletter to be the first to know when we begin wider shipping.
We’re committed to delivering plants that meet our high standards of quality and care. All our roses are carefully inspected before shipping to ensure they arrive healthy, true to name, and ready to grow.
Because we work with live, perishable plants, we handle concerns on a case-by-case basis. If something doesn’t seem right with your order, please reach out within the timelines below with photos and your order number — our small team is always happy to assist and offer support, whether that’s troubleshooting, tailored care tips, or other resolutions where appropriate.
Bare Root Roses:
If your bare root rose hasn’t started growing within 3 weeks, reach out and we’ll guide you on how to care for it. Some roses may take longer in cooler spring weather, so a little patience is normal.
Potted or Leafed-Out Plants:
For live plants, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll guide you to help it thrive.
We do our absolute best to package each plant securely and with care, but occasionally, shipping can be rough on delicate items.
If your order arrives damaged or compromised, please email us at info@thebloomlibrary.ca (info@thebloomlibrary.ca)w(info@thebloomlibrary.ca)ithin 48 hours of delivery. Be sure to include:
• Your order number
• Clear photos of the packaging and plant
• A brief description of the issue
This helps us assess the situation and offer the right support — whether it’s troubleshooting tips, and personalized care guidance.
While minor shipping stress (like bent canes or loosened soil) is sometimes expected and recoverable with proper planting and care, we address any serious concerns promptly and always aim to make it right.
We’re a small, women-led business dedicated to making roses more accessible to passionate gardeners. By offering a carefully selected variety and maintaining limited stock, we keep our prices fair while working directly with Canadian growers — all without compromising on quality.
We are currently an online-only shop based in Windsor, Ontario. While we don’t offer in-person shopping at this time, local pickup options may be available in the future.
