Tranquillity is an English shrub rose from David Austin, introduced in 2012. Lightly yellow-tinged buds open into pure white blooms, large and beautifully rounded, with about 110 neatly arranged petals forming perfect rosettes. The scent is light and fruity, so this is a rose chosen for its clean, classic form more than its fragrance. It repeats in flushes from late spring into fall, and the blooms are good for cutting. The shrub is vigorous, bushy and upright, about 120 cm tall and wide, with light green foliage on stems that curve gracefully outward. It suits borders and large containers. Give it full sun and an east-, south- or west-facing spot. It grows in all soil types and is rated hardy to zone 5.
