Sweet Mademoiselle is a hybrid tea from Meilland in France, bred by Alain Meilland. It was introduced in France in 2016 as Mademoiselle Meilland and is sold in North America as Sweet Mademoiselle. In 2024 it won a Fragrance Award and Regional Choice awards in four regions of the American Garden Rose Selections trials. The blooms are large and very full, about 12–13 cm across, in an old-fashioned cupped form. They’re peachy pink blending to apricot. The fragrance is strong, sweet and fruity. It repeats through the season and has excellent disease resistance, which makes it a good choice for first-time rose growers. The plant is upright and bushy, about 150 cm tall and 50–90 cm wide, with dark green, semi-glossy foliage.
An award-winning, strongly scented Meilland rose in peach and apricot that’s easy to grow.
