Perfumed Kiss is a hybrid tea bred in Canada by Brad Jalbert, and as the name suggests, it's grown for its fragrance. The scent is heady and sweet, a true rose perfume with a clear lemon note. The petals open in mauve-lavender tones, edged slightly deeper, into classic hybrid tea blooms. The plant is vigorous and healthy, flowers freely through the season, and stays compact at about 90 cm. Its glossy, deep green foliage is darkest on new growth. It suits a border, a patio pot or anywhere close to where you sit, so you can enjoy the scent.
