Mary Pattison is a hybrid tea bred in Canada by Brad Jalbert and introduced by Select Roses in 2025. It's named in honour of Mary Pattison, wife of Canadian businessman and philanthropist Jimmy Pattison. Before release it was trialled for years in Jalbert's no-spray fields. The blooms are large, shapely and a vivid, rich pink, with an unusual raspberry-like fragrance. Plenty of flowers come all season on a robust, solid plant with abundant bright green, highly polished foliage that resists disease very well. It grows to about 1.2 m or taller, which makes it a good large specimen shrub or informal hedge.
A vivid pink, raspberry-scented hybrid tea bred in Canada and tested without spray.
