Leap of Faith is a floribunda from Canadian breeder Brad Jalbert, introduced to mark the 35th anniversary of his nursery, Select Roses, in Langley, BC. It's the sister introduction to Caramel Kiss. Its buds have the neat shape of a classic floribunda, then open into English-style cupped and quartered blooms in glowing pink, light pink and touches of peach. The scent is soft and rosy with a hint of pear. The foliage is thick, glossy and holly-like, typical of Jalbert's roses, which are bred for disease resistance. The plant stays compact at about 90 cm and repeats all season, so it works as well in a container as in a border.
