A romantic climber with lush, fully double blooms in a rich, clear pink shade. With a strong, classic damask fragrance and excellent disease resistance, it's ideal for arches, fences, or trellises. Combines beautifully with white clematis or lavender for a dreamy, vertical display.

Kiss Me Kate is a climbing rose from Kordes in Germany, introduced in 2016 and named after the musical. It belongs to Kordes' Parfuma line, bred above all for fragrance, and is sold in North America as part of the Arborose climber collection. Kordes describes the scent as fresh lemon peel and green apple over a base of myrrh, and other growers also pick up raspberry. It's strongest in the morning and evening. Dark pink buds open to very full, cupped and quartered blooms in rose-pink with a darker reverse, held in small clusters on stems long enough for cutting. It repeats in flushes from late spring into fall. It's a vigorous climber, usually reaching 2–3 m on an arch, trellis or fence. The dark green foliage is very resistant to black spot and mildew, as you'd expect from Kordes. It's hardy to zone 5.
