Glowing Inspiration is a Canadian-bred floribunda from Brad Jalbert of Select Roses in Langley, BC. It was introduced in 2020 as Select Roses’ 30th Anniversary Rose. Well-formed buds open into slightly ruffled double blooms of deep gold with apricot tones, and the colour changes with the weather. The fragrance is gentle and slightly fruity. Select Roses says it flowers nonstop from spring to the first frost, and it has been tested for resistance to blackspot and mildew. It forms a neat, upright plant of about 90–100 cm, small enough for the front of a bed or a large container, and it tolerates drought once established. It is rated hardy to zone 5. If your plant is grafted, cover the graft over winter in colder regions. Outside Canada it is sold as Gold & Great.
