Foxy Lady is a floribunda bred in Canada by Brad Jalbert in 2015, and it's grown for its colour. The large, frilly double blooms are about 9 cm across and open a glowing copper-orange that fades to smoky salmon. Jalbert describes the colour as one you have to see in person. The flowers come in small clusters, last well, and drop cleanly when they're finished, so there's little deadheading. The scent is mild. The plant is very healthy, with glossy dark green foliage, and it grows upright with a slightly open habit to about 90–120 cm. It's hardy and copes with heat, rain and dry spells, which suits a border, a mixed bed or a spot where you want colour to carry across the garden.
