Darcey Bussell is a David Austin English rose from 2006, named for the British ballerina. Its main appeal is the colour: a deep, rich crimson that takes on a mauve tint just before the petals drop. Each bud opens to a cup ringed by the outer petals, then flattens into a full rosette about 10 cm across with 65 to 80 petals. The scent is light to medium and fruity, and the flowers repeat in flushes from early summer into fall. The plant stays compact and bushy at around 1 m tall and wide, so it fits the front of a border or a large container (at least 50 × 50 cm). It's also a good cutting rose. It's an older variety and isn't as disease resistant as David Austin's newer introductions, so give it full sun and good air flow, and watch the leaves in humid weather.
