Celestial Night is a floribunda bred by Christian Bédard for Weeks Roses and introduced in 2017. It comes from Ebb Tide, the well-known purple floribunda, and keeps the deep plum colour while adding the disease resistance Ebb Tide never had. The blooms are very full, with 60 to 75 petals in a globular, cupped, old-fashioned form, deep plum-purple with a raspberry reverse. They hold their colour until the petals drop rather than fading to grey. The scent is moderate, fruity and spicy, and it won the American Garden Rose Selections Fragrance Award in 2022. The flowers come in small clusters and repeat in flushes from late spring to fall. The plant grows upright and bushy to about 90–120 cm, with glossy dark green foliage. It's a good size for a border or a large container, and the blooms work well in a vase.
